LIVESTOCK GUARANTEE


Livestock Guarantee – Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy

  1. Livestock guarantees only apply to livestock that have been shipped only. Does not apply to in-store transactions;

  2. To qualify for Shoreline Corals DOA policy, the package must be signed and received on the first delivery attempt. The guarantee is void if the package is not signed and received on the first delivery attempt of if the wrong delivery address was provided;

  3. If the package is held at a depot for pick up, the packaged must be received within 4 hours of being ready for pick up. The guarantee is void if the package is not signed and received within 4 hours of being ready for pick up;

  4. Shoreline Corals reserves the right to require that the package is shipped with WestJet and picked up from the airport, or shipped with FedEx and picked up at location, rather than delivered to an address due to weather conditions, rural locations, delivery times or any other reasons;

  5. For packages shipped with FedEx and/or UPS, Shoreline Corals is not responsible for any damages and/or DOAs resulting from the negligence and/or mishandling of the package by the carrier; 

  6. Shoreline Corals is also not responsible for DOAs due to carrier delays;

  7. Upon receipt of the package, please take a video of the unopened package being opened showing each piece of livestock received, taking note of any DOAs;

  8. If any DOAs are identified, please email photos and/or the video to shorelinecorals@gmail.com within 2 hours of the package received confirmation;

  9. A Shoreline Corals team member will respond with instructions on how to deal with the DOA. Please do no discard the DOA until further instructed;

  10. If photos are sent within the 2 hour window per item #8, and a Shoreline Corals team member confirms the DOA, we will replace the DOA with a comparable item. The buyer will be responsible to pay for the shipping costs.

  11. If a comparable replacement of the DOA is unavailable, Shoreline Corals will issue store credit for the purchase price of the DOA only. The buyer will be responsible to pay for the shipping costs;

  12. Failure to notify us through email of the DOA within the 2 hour window as per item #6 above will void any guarantees;

  13. There will be no refunds on livestock DOA, store credit only;

  14. There will be no refunds or credits for shipping charges.
